A great, family-owned Italian place in the center of Olney. Hal and his family make you feel right at home. The lasagna and calzones are fantastic, coming piping hot out of Ricciuti's in-house brick oven.
menu has gotten very eclectic in recent years.
with a rich, smoky flavor -- but after a few bites, it was all heat (picante) and no flavor. The last half of it became a slog to get through.
Their Gorgonzola pizza has been a favorite of mine for years.
Ok, I "used to" like this place for many reasons, but today I had so much disappointment I finally gave up. They got our order wrong twice, and the drink was also not we asked for. It is still for me a local business I want to defend, but they really have to work hard to improve service here.

Maybe I've been acclimated by mass market restaurants, but I thought it was a bit pricey for a small portion.
Food was fine; service was overburdened and therefore somewhat slow, making this a good place for long conversations: but be prepared to fight the noise. We were there on a friday night and it was full. My dining companion enjoyed watching the couple at the next table who were clearly on a 2nd or 3rd date. See, sometimes long waits are the perfect thing.
Great restaurant and excellent service. First time visiting today and had a great lunch. I recommend and hope to visit again soon.
